North Star:  The Life of Frederick Douglass by yours truly, Kerry Gleason, earned honors as the Best Screenplay at the 2009 Buffalo Niagara Film Festival.  It was selected over more than 40 screenplay entries and 11 other finalists, with a beautiful award presented Sunday, May 10, 2009.
